Here to support your practice.

Practice guide

Tap a tile to rotate it 90° clockwise. Drag it onto another tile to swap their positions. You can also switch to Tap swap and select two tiles. Pick one of four characters whenever you recognize the answer, or restore the whole board.

Undo reverses the last move. Hint restores one tile. There is no countdown.

Progress and settings

Progress stays on this device. Settings lets you control light or dark appearance (including system matching), music, effects, haptics, reduced motion and language. You can export progress with the system share sheet or clear local progress. All exercises remain free without login. Settings → Remove Ads offers an optional one-time purchase and Restore Purchases using the same Apple Account. The US base price is $0.99; the App Store displays your local price.

The catalog covers Unicode 17 unified and compatibility Han ideographs, including Extensions A–J. Unencoded forms and variation sequences are not included. Rare glyphs may use regional variants.

Chinese textbook lists offer the 2024 revision and the 2016–2019 edition, with mixed selection. Verified revised lists cover both terms of Grades 1–3 and Term 1 of Grades 4–6: 9 volumes and 17 lists. Grade 6 Term 1 has a writing list. Revised Term 2 lists for Grades 4–6 are not yet included; choose the earlier edition or paste your lesson text. Counts include pronunciation review characters, with duplicates removed.

Dictionary definitions depend on dictionaries installed on the device; individual letters, kana and rare characters may have no entry. Download language dictionaries through Settings → General → Dictionary. Installing a dictionary can require a connection. The app does not upload your custom text or practice progress.
