Your privacy choices, explained.
Updated September 30, 2026 (version 1.0.0, build 18 and later). Developer: Wei Sun. Contact: [email protected].
Local practice and your data
No account is required. Character resources, audio, progress, favorites, settings and custom text remain on your device and are not uploaded to the developer. Exercises work offline. Build 18 removes the manual age-selection form. The app does not receive or store your birth date. Where required on supported systems, Apple supplies an age range through its system interface; the app uses a local protection decision before requesting ads. Raw age ranges are not uploaded to the developer. Older builds used a local age preference; previous under-18 preferences remain protected.
Advertising and consent
Google AdMob supplies banner ads; Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) manages regional privacy choices. Their SDKs may process IP-derived approximate location, device identifiers, advertising data and interactions, crash logs, performance and other diagnostic data for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, security and consent. We do not add Firebase Analytics or advertising mediation networks.
When the system permits a request, the app offers Apple's App Tracking Transparency choice before contacting advertising services. Refusing permission does not restrict exercises. Authorization is not treated as proof of age. All ad requests also wait for any required system age check and applicable regional consent. Known minor protection, including earlier under-18 preferences and required system age results, disables tracking and applies restrictive ad treatment. Other identifiers and contextual ad data may still be processed without cross-app tracking. Ads are limited to general-audience content. We disable Google's publisher first-party ID for everyone.
Where required, UMP presents consent choices before ad requests. If a required privacy check fails or remains unresolved, no ads are requested. Practice stays available. Change applicable regional consent through Settings → Ads & Privacy → Ad privacy choices; manage tracking in iOS Settings. Ad-free purchasers do not start the advertising SDK on later launches. Buying stops future ad requests but does not erase data previously processed.
Google processes data according to its Privacy Policy and partner-site data practices. Retention and international transfers are managed by Google under those policies. Use the in-app privacy controls and Google's privacy tools for applicable access, deletion and opt-out rights.
One-time purchase
Remove Ads is a non-consumable purchase processed by Apple. The app verifies signed purchase entitlements locally, supports restore and observes refunds. We do not receive payment card information or send transaction data to our own server. Purchase and restore require access to Apple services. The US base price is $0.99; the App Store shows the applicable local price.
Exports, deletion and support
Progress exports include custom text. Only the destination you choose in the share sheet receives the file. Clear local progress in Settings or delete the app; shared copies and Apple backups need separate management. Clearing progress does not cancel or remove a purchase.
Support emails and attachments are used to respond and troubleshoot; request deletion at [email protected]. Apple operates TestFlight diagnostics, purchase services, system dictionaries and rating prompts under its policies. This website uses ordinary hosting connection logs for delivery and security, without advertising trackers. Parents or guardians may contact support about privacy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date.
Custom lessons and dictionaries
Text you enter into My characters stays on the device and is included if you export your progress. A character selected for lookup is passed to the iOS system dictionary. Downloaded dictionary content and any system-provided web search are controlled by Apple and your own actions.
