No tracking or account
Cosmivoy does not require registration and includes no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. The developer does not receive your flight recordings, settings or device motion data.
Data on your device
Language, display settings, last view, stargazing location and flight recordings are stored on your device. Delete recordings in Places & Routes; uninstalling removes local data. System backups follow your Apple settings.
Device permissions
Motion and location are used only when you enable their features, for the on-device view, local sky and flight destinations. They are never uploaded. You can disable access in system settings. The app does not access contacts, photos or the microphone.
Network connections
Satellite orbit updates are automatic by default and can be disabled in Settings. On launch, return to the foreground or during use, outdated snapshots are refreshed as needed over HTTPS from CelesTrak, with requests at least two hours apart. Offline data is retained if an update fails. Flight recordings and motion data are never uploaded. Requesting an orbit update connects directly to CelesTrak over HTTPS. Opening support, privacy or astronomical source links connects to the relevant website. Those services receive ordinary network request information, including an IP address, and apply their own privacy policies. These requests do not upload your saved flights or motion data.
This website
This site uses no advertising, marketing analytics or tracking cookies. Its hosting and network providers may process IP addresses and request logs to deliver pages, prevent abuse and keep the service secure. Videos and images are served from this site; there is no embedded social-video tracker.
Support correspondence
If you choose to email support, we use your email address and the information you provide to reply and resolve the issue. We do not use support messages for advertising or sell them. Retention is limited to support needs and any applicable legal obligations; request deletion at [email protected].
Your choices and changes
You can turn off motion controls, avoid optional network updates, remove recordings and delete the app. Contact [email protected] to ask about privacy or request deletion of support correspondence. We will update this policy if our practices change, with a new effective date.
